Apple Blossom Resort is a one-of-a-kind luxury rental property featuring three homes and extensive outdoor space on a private 18-acre estate in SW Michigan’s idyllic Harbor Country, just 70 miles from Chicago.

With sleeping accommodations for up to 48 guests and outdoor event space for up to 200 guests, Apple Blossom Resort is an inspired site for events that are fun, modern, and laid-back.

The property’s adaptable layout makes it an ideal home base for celebrations that unfold over several unforgettable days. Our unique location lends a secluded vibe to every occasion while being moments away from all that this special region has to offer.

The Estate

The sprawling 8,000 sq ft estate was designed to accommodate private gatherings that feel intimate, relaxed, and elegant. Modern construction, thoughtful design, high-end amenities, and personalized touches ensure that our guests experience the comforts of home in a boutique setting nestled in the woods near Lake Michigan.

The custom-built Main House features 7 spacious bedrooms, 9 bathrooms, and a sleek open concept chef’s kitchen/great room perfectly suited for intimate receptions, rehearsal dinners, and day-after brunches. 

The Guest House provides an additional 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms that are ideal for guests who benefit from additional privacy. Combining rustic charm and contemporary design, The Cabin is a tucked-away sanctuary for the wedding couple.

Our specially-designed 6,000 sq ft astroturf area with 40 ft x 80 ft pole tent creates a flawless canvas for outdoor ceremonies and receptions.

Exclusive rental of the entire estate including 3 homes & extensive grounds

Event Tent

A 40 ft x 80 ft pole tent with bistro lighting installed on the 60 ft x 100 ft astroturf event space adjacent to the pool and tennis/basketball court

Ceremony

A 40 ft x 60 ft paved ceremony area

200 white resin chairs with pad

Reception

27 60-inch round dining tables

200 natural oak chairs with pad

10 36-inch round high-top tables for cocktail hour (can be set up around the pool or elsewhere)

Portable Washrooms

A three-unit, fully-stocked upscale executive washroom trailer with heating, air conditioning & running water

Parking

On-site parking for 75 vehicles

Seasonal Nightly Minimums

All property rentals have a nightly minimum requirement that varies by the time of year. The nightly minimums for 2024 events at Apple Blossom Resort are:


  • Wedding Season (April thru October): 4

  • Off-Season (November through March): 3 (4-night minimum for holidays)

Backyard Oasis with Main House Heated Pool (open May 1-October 31), Hot Tubs (open all year long!), Pergola Lounge Area, Poolside Fire Pit & Sandbox for the Kiddos!

2025 Pricing

Pricing includes Property Rental, Event Package & Taxes. Event admin fee is $10 per person in addition to pricing below. 

  • Peak Season (June through September)  

    Weekends $39,000 / 4 nights – Thursday thru Monday

    Week $15,000 / 3 nights – Monday thru Thursday

  • Early Shoulder Season (April)

    Weekends $17,325 / 4 Nights. Thursday thru Monday

    Week $9,000 / 3 Nights. Monday thru Thursday

  • Primary Shoulder Season (May & October)

    Weekends $28,875 / 4 nights. Thursday thru Monday.

    Week $12,000 / 3 nights. Monday thru Thursday.

  • Off-Season (November through March)

    $12,260 / 3 nights ($13,568 / 4-night minimum for holidays). Additional nights $1,250

Please note that we are only able to host indoor events with a maximum of 48 people during the off-season. Rental includes tables & chairs from the Event Package, but does not include tent or executive washroom.

Details

Parking

The property can accommodate up to 75 cars. Parking is not permitted on the grass. Off-site parking is required if there will be more than 75 vehicles onsite at any time.

Insurance

Event insurance is recommended, but not required. However, insurance certificates must be on file for all caterers & bartenders.

Catering

Guests are welcome to work with the caterer of their choice. A copy of your provider’s insurance must be on-file prior to all events.

Alcohol

You can provide your own Beer, wine, liquor, and other alcohol but must be served by professional bartenders with the proper licenses and insurance for all events. A copy of your bartender’s insurance must be on-file 90 days prior to all events.

Washrooms

To prevent issues with the estate’s septic system, portable executive washrooms are required for events over the capacity of the house.

Noise Curfew

Outdoor event music is allowed until 11:30pm. Music is permitted after-hours for guests staying at the property.

Site Visits

Site visits are welcome when the property is not rented and we do not have guests on-site.

Main House Great Room

Moments away, you’ll find picturesque Lake Michigan and Galien River County Park – both wonderful sites for naturalistic photography. Especially convenient, Apple Blossom Resort is also a short drive to popular wedding venues including Journeyman Distillery and multiple vineyards.

When it comes to downtime, you’re never far from a wide range of experiences – think pristine white sand beaches, verdant winery tours, specialty boutiques, farm-to-table dining, year-round outdoor excursions, quirky cultural venues, and more!

Harbor Country

Just 70 miles from downtown Chicago, Apple Blossom Resort is located in the heart of SW Michigan’s Harbor Country.

Though you may just as easily find yourself content to stay put enjoying the estate’s secluded site and deluxe amenities, the property’s convenient location makes it easy to enjoy the region’s many charming beach towns and agricultural communities.
