We had a group of 17 stay for a wedding near Journeyman. Penny was amazing with communication from start to finish. She did not miss a question or request. House was clean, stocked and ready upon arrival. Check out was easy and quick. There are two bonfire pits with wood stocked up for the whole weekend. Pool with nice lounge chairs and umbrellas, hot tub near back patio. Two grills! Plenty of kitchen stuff for cooking. Would definitely rent another Dwell Vacation house!!!

The recent addition of the pool is amazing! The pool was as good as it gets. The layout of the property is great and spacious for multiple families to vacation together. I would highly recommend it and go back!

What a beautiful property and layout ! Having a pool was so wonderful. Everything was as described in the listing. If you have a large group, especially a bunch of young families, this would be ideal. Plenty of beds ! For us having a two bedroom pool house was perfect for my in-laws. They had their own private space all on one level. Penny from Dwell management was very responsive. I can't say enough about that !!! so easy to work with.

Our family had an incredible week at this beautiful home. It was very well appointed, super clean and comfortable. Each night of the week a different group would cook dinner for all 20 people and the kitchen was very conducive to a group cooking together. We loved the huge table that perfectly seated our group. The pool area is so nice and the temp of the pool and hot tubs were exactly what we were hoping for. The pool was warm and the hot tub was HOT! We made bonfires each night with a spot for everyone to sit around it and play games. This house is very close to both New Buffalo and Union Pier and within 30 minutes to all the wineries. The best part is how responsive the Dwell team was to anything we needed. Even the most minor of issues was handled professionally and quickly. We would most definitely work with the Dwell team again. Highly recommend this team, house and location for the best family vacation EVER.

We booked this property for a golf trip with a large group of people (21). Each person had a bed to sleep in, the outdoor area is perfect for yard games, grilling out or laying by the pool. Thank you so much for an amazing stay!

I couldn't of asked for a better location and house to host my best friends bachelorette weekend. We had 23 women and there was plenty of room for everyone! I would definately go back!

We arrived right after a snow storm had gone through and the lot was well plowed and ready for us. Upon entering the house, it was most pleasant and inviting. A beautiful Christmas tree greeted us, the table fully set beautifully for sixteen. Anything we would want was available, it stayed warm for us, decorating was simple and beautifully done. We spent most of the time with activities around the huge table, from the two year old to the 81 year old. Many memories were made and we couldn't help but think it would be a great spot during warmer months. We would definitely return for another family stay.

Beautifully appointed. The kitchen had everything you'd need, lots of dining, living and sleeping space. The deck, outside eating area, firepit, and hot tub were a hit. Walking distance to hike in the state park, minutes to area activities. Communication and support from the owner was excellent. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for our retreat! Plenty of room for us to stretch out and work--with a kitchen big enough for all of us to help out with the cooking (or, um, taste-testing while others cooked.) We also really appreciated having both the main house and guest house space. It was a bit too cold for us to really utilize the hot tub, but we're looking forward to trying it out again next year!

What a spacious house and beautiful property. We had plenty of room for our group of 9 across the two different houses. We loved the hot tub, enjoyed the outdoor firepit and had multiple meals gazing out across the trees changing for Fall. You do need a car to get around and uber isn't very active in the area so some pre planning is helpful. The host was very responsive and gave us plenty of suggestions for how to get around. Would stay here again especially with the new pool they are installing.

Very family friendly, well prepared for a large group: space, cooking equipment, towels, ample space to set and visit, enjoy the hot tub. A well prepared guest book helped to know what was in the area and things to do. Lots of other places to visit: Warren Dunes State Park - swimming, breweries, distillery, parks

We found this gem when our previous rental property fell through a week before our trip. The house was big enough to accommodate our group of 24. We especially loved the large dining room table, the porch and seating outside, and the backyard. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING you could ever need. We all really enjoyed our stay at this house.

The only regret we have about our trip was that we did not book it sooner. Everything was perfect. It was great having two homes where we could allow our family to get together and socialize and still have places for the little ones to go. We were at the peak Fall colors of the trees which made it an even more picturesque weekend. We are super appreciative for our great hosts and everyone had a great time.

Good location close to Lake Michigan and a decent amount of activities to do in the area. Yard was a nice size, maintenance crew came Friday to cut the grass. House had nice features but sleeping arrangements were not fully accommodating for our group, but the bed layout was provided in the description. Additional double/queen beds for adults and less bunk beds for small children would have been helpful for our group. Couples were split up in other couple's rooms in order to use all the single bed space. Some of the windows and sliders did not have screens so they had to remain closed due to the amount of flies that entered the house. Most doors in the house and the main slider were difficult to open/close. Cleanliness of house and hot tub was marginal. Located off a fairly busy road so watch your dogs! Property manger was friendly and communicated well - Very easy check in and out. Overall a nice place to stay for a long weekend!

The house had everything that we needed. The beach and restaurants were all within a 10 minute drive! We had 8 kids with ages ranging from 3-10 and everyone was happy!

If you are looking for a place for your family, this place is a gem. We had a fairly large group for a family reunion and it suited our needs perfectly. We really enjoyed sitting outside on the deck and around the firepit, but there is plenty of space for hanging out inside too. The location is great and close to many activities including the beach. Super clean, comfy beds, all-around a perfect stay. Our host checked in on us and was very available.

I thought this was a great place for an extended family. We arrived first with all of the groceries. I had a dislocated shoulder and Jorge agreed to come help us unload the car. He stayed and helped us until everything was inside and in its proper room. We were very grateful. The house is set up really nicely with a lot of room to spread out. The dining room is beautiful and works very well with large groups. The kitchen is fully stocked - including Tupperware and foil and spices. There are pans galore and lots of serving dishes. The highlight for us was the outside. The fire pit was great and the ping pong table fun. There were issues with the hot tub which Jorge dealt with appropriately. There were so many seating areas that it was easy to talk or be alone. Town is close by with grocery stores(containing liquor) and a variety of shops. The wineries were a lot of fun and not far. Penny and Jorge were very responsive. A great VRBO.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Dogwood House. The house is clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The property manager was extremely friendly, helpful and accessible. We really enjoyed the proximity of the house to many nature preserves and beaches. A wonderful place to stay!

We loved our stay and given the Pandemic timing , the location and set up of the home was perfect. The guest house was awesome and allowed our parents to join us while still being physically distanced. Nice decor , amenities and plenty of space in the main home. A beautiful yard, fresh air, fire pit and wooded trails right by the house. All this and still a super quick trip to the beach and other activities. Would highly recommend.

My girlfriends and I rented the 3 Oaks rental property for a February Bachelorette Party and loved it! The house was charming, and every detail was thought through. There was more than enough space to sleep the 15 of us comfortably. Bathrooms had plenty of towels and extra little touches. The long table in the dining area made it possible for us to all gather together for meals, and afterwards we had a blast hanging out in the living space — two couches and plenty of space!! From here, we were able to visit the local wineries, too!

We had 14 family members come together for a long weekend in Three Oaks. Everyone thought the home was amazing. Fully stocked on a beautiful property. We made use of the of hot tub and the firepit. The dining room is the highlight of the home. A huge dining table surrounded by the forest. You literally feel like you are dining outside. The home is in a perfect location and you can get around the area quite easily to explore all the towns and wineries. Meg was super responsive and very flexible. We rent a vacation property 1-2 times a year for over a decade now and this was by far the best property we have been to! We cannot begin to explain how clean and updated this property is. Our favorite part was the huge private backyard which included the fire pit and hot tub surrounded by beautiful greenery. Everyone in our group of 20 raved about this property and we are looking forward to book it again in the future!!!

Just back from an amazing family Christmas celebration weekend at the Dogwood House and can't say enough good things about our stay! From the professional manner that the reservations and payments were handled, the way Jorge and Meg answered every question we had, and the ease of checking in, everything was smooth from beginning to end. The house and guest house are warm and inviting with every detail covered. Everything was spotless and every possible thing we needed was there. We especially liked the size and layout of the kitchen and the dining area with the wonderful view. Everyone gathered in the kitchen during meal prep and cleanup. The large dining table allowed everyone to sit comfortably at the same table for our special dinner and we were lucky to have fresh snow during our stay which made the dining room magical. Our group was made up of 13 adults and 3 children...all ages from 76 to 7. Everyone had plenty of room and privacy as well as great places to gather, play games and share our time together. I hope we get to visit again someday! Thank you so much!!

Rented this wonderful farmhouse for my family of 19 to spend Christmas together. It was VERY clean, amazingly well stocked, and beautifully furnished. It could not have been more perfect for my family! We were able to use the hot tub only once because of all the family festivities and the fireplace and fire pit were left unlit--only because of time constraints. I would LOVE to bring my family back here again someday and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect getaway in nearby Michigan!

What a fantastic vacation! I really can't say enough good things about our experience. Check in was a breeze. The house is incredible. The location is fantastic with quick and easy access to multiple area beaches, parks, activities. The hot tub was wonderful. There is plenty of seating for the whole family to eat together inside or out. This was a perfect place for our multi-family reunion. Would recommend this place to anyone!

The farm house was wonderful for our family reunion. Jorge was wonderful to work with and answered any and all of our questions!! The 22 of us were amazed at how well the house was stocked with all that we needed! The yard was perfect for all of our games and nighttime fires. The kitchen was stocked with so many different kinds of kitchenware, the bathrooms provided plenty of towels, and there was tons of inside/outside seating. Great area to go to the beaches, parks, breweries, and wineries!! Absolutely loved our stay!!

~16-20 members of my family were very comfortable during our stay. We were close to the beach, called a shuttle to go out, did some hiking, and cooked massive meals with room for 3-4 cooks at once. I would stay again. Hot Tub was also very fun. Jeff

Our family of 16 people and 3 dogs had the best time ever. Jorge could not have been anymore hospitable. The house was fabulous, contained enough supplies needed to make our large crew happy. Beds all very comfortable. The outdoor fire pit was used from afternoon till late in the evening as did our indoor fireplace and hot tub. Wood was replenished without a problem. More than enough room indoors and out, hiking near by and great towns close by. I would highly recommend this location for a large group who want to enjoy the outdoors and feel very much as if they were at home. This property was perfect for my 40th birthday weekend. We had 18 people and there was plenty of space. Both main house and guest house are modern and have all the necessary ammenties. Beds were super comfortable and rooms were spacious. The huge deck and fire pit was nice to gather around. I would highly recommend this property. The Owner Jorge was very accommodating to our group!!!!!

The house was perfect for our large group of adults! We had plenty of sleeping space and bathrooms for everyone. The long kitchen table provided great scenery and a perfect place to play games. The large living room was perfect for our group as well as there was plenty of comfy seating for everyone. The kitchen and fire pit were our favorite though! The kitchen was perfect for gathering for breakfast and snacking and talking in the evening. Luckily we were able to enjoy the fire pit both nights, but wish the weather was even nicer to enjoy the large backyard as well. There were a lot of other pluses too: plenty of extra blankets, towels and toiletries. There was also plenty of parking, free firewood for us to use and extra games. We would definitely rent this house again as it was perfect for our adult wine weekend getaway.

Our second year staying here and we couldn't be happier. The house has such a perfect layout for a big group, especially the privacy of the guest house. We love cooking in the kitchen and the 2 dishwashers are amazing when cooking for a big group. The backyard, fire pit, and hot tub were great and we LOVED the addition of the lounge chairs this year.

We attended a wedding in Three Oaks and found this property an ideal spot to stay. Plenty of room in the main house and the second house provided arrangements for 2 families with younger kids. I highly recommend this location as a location for an extended family gathering. Entire stay was wonderful and Jorge communicated well and was flexible as needed.

What a fantastic experience it was staying at the Modern Farmhouse. Close to everything Harbor Country has to offer, it made the perfect environment for our group to gather and spend time together! The house is immaculate with every creature comfort you could imagine. The grounds are beautiful and there is so much natural light in each and every space! Highly recommend!

There were 15 women staying at the house and we all felt like we had enough room as a group as well as individually. The property looked exactly as in the pictures -- a beautiful space with a gorgeous porch and backyard (we loved the hot tub). Jorge was incredibly communicative and helpful from the moment we tried to book the house until the day we left. The property was a great location for going into town, going to the lake, or walking around the Warren Woods forest preserve.

This home is just perfect! The living space is wide open, welcoming, spacious, and so well planned out! We loved the fireplace in the living room and the big couches to accommodate all of us! The kitchen is huge, with absolutely everything you need, including 2 dishwashers for clean up! All of the bedrooms are clean and perfect. The beds are so ridiculously comfortable, I didn't want to get up in the morning! The layout of the bedrooms was just perfect so that our large group never felt crowded or on top of each other! The guest house was the perfect retreat for some in our group for a quiet nap or some reading time. Outside is just lovely too--the hot tub, the fire pit, the back deck. I simply can't say enough positive things about how lovely this house is. I wish I lived there!

We all had a wonderful stay at this rental! It was VERY clean (one of the BEST THINGS about it), with great linens, two fully equipped kitchens, plenty of bathrooms, and all of the "extras" that thoughtful owners might provide. My husband and I and our 5 adult kids (and their spouses and kids) had plenty of space. Each family had a separate bedroom so the rental provided privacy, as well as "together" time in the spacious living areas in both the Main House and the Guest House. We enjoyed having every evening meal together (everybody could be seated) at the long dining room table. During the day, everybody prepared breakfast and lunch "on their own" so that they could decide where to go, when to go, and who to go with! Each family cooked ONE dinner for all of us, and we did not have to worry about possible rainy weather ruining our dinner. The spacious wooded areas, lawn area and views, from the house were wonderful. We had lots of privacy as we sat around the fire pit every night. While sharing man family "stories", we did not worry about our laughter imposing on any neighbors. We went to many of the local eating/shopping places during the day. Having a grocery store nearby in New Buffalo, and the corner country store just minutes was convenient. We tried several beaches, but enjoyed the one just 5 minutes away most of the time. We took one of those large "canopy" umbrellas to the beach each day, and it provided lots of shade. The shallow beach area was great The large number of seats in the main kitchen allowed us to gather all throughout the day, just like we do at home when family visits. It was AMAZING to have TWO dishwashers in the main kitchen, and two washers & dryers in the main house, as well as having an additional washer and dryer in the Guest House for the two families who stayed there. Having the hot tub was nice. The setting is great for a large reunion . . . we had 10 adults and 3 Teenagers. One of our sons could not attend at the last minute, but there would have been ample room for him and his family (Two more adults and a 4 year old), if they had been able to join us. This is a wonderful place for a large groups of people. At first, I thought that being a 5 minute drive away from the nearest beach would be problematic, but that was not the case. Each family had a car, and that was very helpful! The owner was very pleasant and cooperative. We would highly recommend this rental home, and hope to return.

We were a group of 14 staying over the Christmas holiday. We loved this rental! The 7 bedrooms with various configurations of beds gave us plenty of flexibility. The layout of the downstairs worked really well for both whole group activities (such as eating together at the long dining room table) and small group activities (puzzles, games, cooking). The kitchen has all new appliances and plenty of counter space. It even had some extras we had not expected -- such as food storage containers for leftovers! In addition, the owner was very responsive over e-mail. We would definitely recommend this rental.

we came with our 8 children, 7 grandchildren, and a puppy. brought only our clothes, beach towels, a large salad bowel, one sprinkler and a slip and slide and had, as my 4 year old grandson said, "the best vacation ever". There were 17 of us, we had breakfast and dinner in, on most days, used the big salad bowl to mix some amazing salads from the wonderful stands in the area and to mix pancakes. But there was A surprise waffle iron in the beautiful kitchen for breakfast. Lunch was always part of our outing which included places like one of three beaches, the closest Weko, about 15 minutes away in Brdgman, the two others in St Joe and New Buffolo, all clean and great. We went to the warren Sand Dunes, kids climbed to the top, great view and then into the water at their beach. The children's museum in St Joseph is wonderful and on our one rainy day we found a wonderful library in New Buffalo. But the house, what a find, 3 washers and dryers, great beds, lots of space to be together or by your self. A hot tub outside. Just a jewel. We would recommended it to adults on a getaway or to family's trying to be the Brady bunch like us. All I know is you won't be disappointed.

The Three Oaks vacation home was the perfect location for our large group of 14. The interior design is very well done, and the large deck, grilling area, fire pit, and hot tub provided everything we needed. With 4.5 baths and at least 16 beds there was plenty of room for everyone. We would definitely go back.

A total of 13 guys in their early 30s recently stayed here for a nice weekend getaway. The house is in fantastic shape, and was easily capable of sleeping all of us (with plenty of room to spare!). The dual sinks, dishwashers, and washer/dryer units were a great addition and made clean up a breeze. Rick, the property manager, was able to quickly assist in all questions we had with the property. I would strongly recommend this property.
